Thank you for your interest in Thistle and Vine.
When our youngest daughter Grace was born we learned that she was deaf, at the young age of 6 months we found a Dr in Philadelphia who could do a surgery that would give her a certain level of hearing, after the surgery the Dr advised us not to put Grace in a full time daycare.
I always worked fulltime so I was going to have to figure out what to do.
I prayed and prayed for an answer.
A local lady that lived and owned a business in this very building was selling and moving to a new condo. The gentleman that bought the building put out a "For Rent" sign, I happened to drive by that very day and called him.
We met and he became one of my biggest supporters in helping me get the store up and running.
Doris who had previously owned her store called
"Ten West Main "gave me her sign to paint over with Thistle and Vine.
I am so grateful for her generous gift.
Thank you to all our friends, family and neighbors that continue to jump in at a moments notice to help.
I truely believe that blessings come to us everyday and we need to open ourselves up to receive them and send them back into the world.
